HEATHER BOOTH: She’s Paul’s wife and director of the Midwest Academy. While there’s no direct evidence Obama trained there for his community-organizing days, he did have a role in funding it. During Obama’s tenure on the Woods Foundation board, MA received successive years of start-up grant funding. And WorldNetDaily reported that MA offered two- to four-day “Camp Obama” training to 2008 campaign workers. The David Horowitz Freedom Center describes the Midwest Academy as an Alinsky-inspired school that teaches “radical activists tactics of direct action, targeting, confrontation, and intimidation.”

“Alinsky is to community-organizing as Freud is to psychoanalysis,” said Booth, who was invited to the White House for the signing of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.
