Obama's Connections to the violent SDS: Paul Booth

The eighth in a series of posts on President Obama's connections to the violent, far-Left progressive Students for a Democratic Society -- a known terrorist group -- based on a March 2012 feature in The Blaze Magazine titled "Dangerous Birds of a Feather."

--------------------

PAUL BOOTH: Once a national SDS leader, Booth is called the political “brains behind the leadership” of AFSCME, the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees union, since 1974. A Democratic Socialists of America columnist recently called Booth “an organizing legend outside of the labor movement.” Booth serves on the board of the Midwest Academy (MA), a Chicago-based “influential training ground for organizers” that uses the Saul Alinsky model. Booth has White House connections through his union role and Midwest Academy and trained Andy Stern, a young social worker who would go on to head the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) and become an Obama economic advisor. During his presidential campaign, Obama said, “SEIU’s goals are my goals.”
