Weiner reportedly wants to get back into politics because no one will hire him
July 16, 2012
Anthony Weiner's wife Huma Abedin wants Weiner to do a one-on-one tell-all interview that will finally clear things up on his dirty sexting scandal, according to the New York Post. The news comes after rumors floated yesterday that he's "seriously thinking" about a run for New York City mayor.
More importantly, this sad state of affairs:
“Nobody wants to hire Anthony; he can’t find a job,” said a political consultant who employs one of the ex-congressman’s former staffers who still speaks to him.Another Democrat consultant said: “Huma’s panicked he can’t find a job. She’s quite angry because no one she thought would help him has helped him.”
The sources said he has been looking unsuccessfully into jobs in finance, real estate and political consulting.
Weiner denied that his wife is urging him to do a tell-all, calling the report "pure fiction."
