Chick-Fil-A President Dan Cathy spoke out against against gay marriage last week causing some controversy. The lastest: The Jim Henson Company says it will donate money it recently received from the fast food restaurant to a gay rights organization.
The Jim Henson Company wrote on Facebook: "Lisa Henson, our CEO is personally a strong supporter of gay marriage and has directed us to donate the payment we received from Chick-Fil-A to GLAAD (Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation)."
Both companies were in the middle of a promo deal in which Muppet toys were included in Chick-Fil-A children's meals.
