Because Mitt Romney has yet to ask Rick Santorum to give a speech at the Republican National Convention, Santorum's team is just gonna come out and say it: He'd like a spot, please. PLEASE?!
But don't get it twisted. This is not -- not -- about Santorum. This is about you, the people.
In an interview with The Hill, Santorum's senior strategist John Brabender said that conservatives would be "quite disturbed" if the former Pennsylvania senator didn't get to talk. "To have him front and center would seem, strategically like the right thing to do," Brabender said.
See? It's all about desperation doing the right thing. Do what's right, Mitt.
