LOL: Reddit readers wonder why Republicans are all crazy

This is the topic of discussion trending in politics on Reddit.com today and thought it would make for a good Friday afternoon laugh (edited for profanity):

Why is it that I constantly hear about crazy s**t Republicans are doing but I never hear about Democrats doing anything at all?

It's a curious question that struck me as funny.  But what's more funny are the hilarious responses the questioner gets from his fellow liberal Reddit readers.  Here's a sample:

• I said it in another post. Us Dems are always trying to reason, and "listen" to the other side no matter how batsh** insane it is. Republicans on the other hand come to fight, and if they have to use a broken bottle or boot pistol to win they won't lose sleep over it.
• [D]emocrats do all sorts of normal things, like pass healthcare form, it's just that the press knows that crazy sh** sells and reddit loves to point out lies and hypocrisy. 

Shorter version: Democrats are the sane, rational thinkers; Republicans are knuckle-dragging neanderthals who should be thankful to have Democrats to keep them in line.   Have you ever noticed that Democrats always have very high opinions of themselves?

One reader pointed out that Democrats do crazy things, too, but the Republican crazy is just worse because they are successful make money:

• biden tells people they'll be put back in "chains," weiner texting pics of his weiner, spitzer and his prostitute, edwards and his mistress. dems do some stupid sh** too. but it's usually self-destructive, not f*****g over the rest of the country, and making an obscene profit while doing it.

How sad that we live in a time where forcing people to buy something is considered "normal." By that standard, I guess the Mafia was pretty normal too.
