Jay Carney Responds to Bubbling Controversy: No, He's 'Not Aware' of Any Plans to Reveal White House Beer Recipe

It looks like the nation's beer enthusiasts are in for a disappointment.

Despite an online petition and a Freedom of Information Act request, it seems the White House has no intention of revealing the recipe for its homemade brew.

Press secretary Jay Carney told reporters Thursday he was "not aware" of any plans to detail what's in the special suds.

"I think the president and first lady were asked about this a little bit in an interview last week," Carney said. "I'm not aware of any plans to divulge the secret recipe."
