Wilkow Gives Romney Campaign Advice on Handling '47 Percent' Remarks: 'Own It & Run With It Unapologetically
September 18, 2012
"He was captured on tape speaking the absolute truth about the welfare state."
During his show on TheBlazeTV on Tuesday, host Andrew Wilkow offered GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney and his campaign some free advice on how to deal with the controversy surrounding Romney's recent comments about the "47 percent" of people he says will vote for Obama because they believe in government entitlements.
Wilkow called it the "best scandal ever" for Romney to get caught in.
"He was captured on tape speaking the absolute truth about the welfare state. If his campaign doesn't own it and run with it apologetically, they should all be fired," he said.
The host added that Romney sounded like any normal taxpayer who is frustrated with the welfare state and big government policies.
