Landslide: 67 Percent of Registered Voters Say Romney Won Debate, CNN Poll Reveals
October 03, 2012
Obama: 25 percent
Sixty-seven percent of registered voters who tuned in for the first presidential debate on Wednesday said GOP nominee Mitt Romney won the debate while just 25 percent said President Barack Obama outperformed his rival, a CNN/ORC International Poll revealed.
According to CNN, 430 likely American voters were interviewed by phone following the debate.
"The poll does not and cannot reflect the views of all Americans. It only represents the views of people who watched the event," CNN reports.
The poll has a sampling error of plus or minus 4.5 percentage points.
