Vice President Joe Biden during a campaign on Thursday in Las Vegas addressed the topic of the nation’s veterans.
"How many of you know someone who has served in Iraq or Iran?" he asked.
Wait, what? When did we deploy U.S. troops to Iran? Obviously, the vice president meant Afghanistan. At least, that's what we hope he meant.
Final Thought: Let’s cut the vice president some slack. This is nothing more than a simple, innocent slip of the tongue. To turn this into a major talking point would be as ridiculous as, oh, I don’t know, taking Mitt Romney out of context and attacking him for talking about binders full of women’s résumés.
