Limbaugh's Response to Petraeus, Allen Scandal Is Instant Classic: 'Too Many Generals Taking Orders From Their Privates'

"And there is not a whole lot of real generaling going on out there."
If you were looking for an iconic phrase to come from the evolving, real-life soap opera that is the David Petraeus/Paula Broadwell/Gen. John Allen/Jill Kelley affair and email scandal, Rush Limbaugh delivered on Tuesday.
During his monologue on the issue, Limbaugh uttered a classic line sure to leave many rolling: "I don't want to prejudge this, folks, but it sure seems to me that we have way too many generals taking orders from their privates."
That was in response to new news today that Gen. Allen exchanged thousands of pages worth of "inappropriate" emails with Kelly, the woman who was threatened by Petraeus's mistress and who eventually took that badgering to the FBI.
