Batman, Iron Man & Captain America Used Twinkies to Fight Crime in These Amazing Retro Hostess Ads

Hostess cakes were regularly used to fight crime by America's finest super heroes in the 1970's.  Their crime fighting potential makes it all the more tragic that the hallmark American company was forced to close their doors this week due to overreaching union demands.  "Hostess Brands, Inc. said late Tuesday that it failed to reach an agreement with its second-biggest union," the Associated Press reports. As a result, it appears that these super heroes will lose a tasty crime-fighting tool.
