Okla. Woman Tased Point Blank in the Chest Sues City for $2 Million (See the Stunning Surveillance Vid.)

An Oklahoma woman taken into the Pittsburg County Jail in June for public drunkenness, who was shot with a Taser directly in the chest by an officer for unruly behavior, is now suing the city for $2 million in damages.

According to NewsOK, Nakina Williams filed the suit against the city of McAlester for alleged violations of her civil rights and use of excessive force by officer Sterling Taylor-Santino. Taylor-Santino plead not guilty to charges of assault with a dangerous weapon.

The plot thickens when the report stated that Williams believes Taylor-Santino tried to cover up the severity of his use of the Taser in the "use of force report" he filed of the incident. According to NewsOK, Taylor-Santino did not include in the report that Williams was handcuffed when she was tased.

Video surveillance of the incident shows Williams was restrained by handcuffs when she was shot with the electric jolt. Watch the footage included in this report:

Williams' lawyer Jeremy Beaver told NewsOK that the officers should not have "yanked" the Taser's barbs from her chest.

"They were supposed to take her to the hospital to remove those," he said according to the news site.

Both Williams and Taylor-Santino appear to have their own respective histories. NewsOK reported the lawsuit brought against Taylor-Santino mentioned that he had "instigated a disproportionate number of violent conflicts with suspects." Williams' had been arrested before for other public intoxication incidents, possession of controlled substances and inadequate care of her children.

According to NewsOK, Taylor-Santino is still an officer for the McAlester Police Department, although he was suspended for two weeks without pay. The next court date is scheduled for Dec. 14.
