President Obama is scheduled to speak at 7:00 p.m. interfaith prayer vigil for the victims of Friday's attack on Sandy Hook Elementary.  The event began roughly 45 minutes late, and as of 8:15 p.m., the president had not yet spoken.

A White House official told ABC's Jake Tapper that Obama wrote the majority of the speech himself.
