Kansas anchor 'couldn't let Jay Carney get out of the room without answering to Wichita workers

President Obama invited eight local news anchors from Wichita, Oklahoma City and San Francisco to the White House yesterday to ask questions, allotting each anchor five minutes each. Later, they attended a White House press briefing with Jay Carney.

Enter Susan Peters, a feisty energetic anchor out of Wichita. During the briefing she asked Carney about the administration's position to end tax breaks on corporate jets. But with the way she teased the question on an earlier news broadcast yesterday, you'd think she had to body slam Carney, who tried escaping through a trapdoor to avoid her question...

"I couldn't let Jay Carney get away without answering to Wichita workers," Peters, wearing hockey gloves, says in the tease.
