Jesus is coming...tonight at 8 p.m. ET on the History Channel.
The third installment of Mark Burnett and Roma Downey's epic "The Bible" series will air Sunday evening. With reenactments of the Old Testament coming to a close, Jesus' story will begin.
The creators have put together a two-minute preview showcasing what viewers can expect. Get a sneak peak at some of the most riveting scenes featuring Christ:
TheBlaze has extensively covered the series, including on-set miracles said to have taken place, the accompanying Facebook game that's been released and more (we've even had Burnett and Downey on TheBlaze TV to discuss their buzz-worthy project).
So far, the series has had astounding ratings, with week one bringing in 13.1 million viewers in its first airing of the episode. Still impressive, the second week brought in 10.8 million viewers.
