Is the GOP Paying Too Much Attention to an Image Problem and Not Enough to Their Policy Problem?
March 20, 2013
The Republican National Committee released a scathing 100-page report earlier this week based on internal task force studies following disappointing results in last November's national and local elections. The report offered far from uncommon revelations that the public perception of the GOP is not great right now, especially with women and minorities. While the report made many recommendations for outreach and messaging, little is discussed regarding Republican policy proposals and ideology. While the report was not put together by a policy committee, the question remains on whether policy changes are something that the party would be willing and able to make to attract new voters.
Monica Crowley joined 'Wilkow!' Wednesday to discuss the report and if the GOP is really learning from past policy and political mistakes.
