Conservative group giving away free CPAC ticket in honor of Margaret Thatcher
April 08, 2013
The American Conservative Union, which hosts the annual Conservative Political Action Conference, announced a scholarship Monday in honor of former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.
"In her honor today we announce that we will create a 'Baroness Margaret Thatcher CPAC Scholarship Fund,' given annually to an outstanding young female conservative who will receive complimentary 3-day VIP registration at CPAC, starting in 2014," said ACU Chairman Al Cardenas in a press release.
VIP registration for 2013's CPAC was valued at $1,000, offered "priority seating" and "express check-in" among other things.
