This Australian Cafe Won't Let You Pay for Your Coffee with Money, Instead You Have to Use...
June 04, 2013
"We're not accepting your money..."
You need a cup of coffee. You want a cup of coffee. But don't have any money...just pay for it with a kiss. In one Australian cafe, during the month of June you can pay for that vent-latte-half-caff-skim-moccachino (or whatever you order) with a smooch.

The Metro St. James Cafe in NW Sydney's Hyde Park area claims their "Pay With A Kiss" campaign is promoting romance. Sunday, on their Facebook page, the cafe announced the promotion:
Attention, lovers of Sydney! Bring your lover to Metro St James in June between 9-11am and pay for your coffees with a kiss.
Some have wondered if the promotion is just a cheesy way for the cafe staff to get kisses from customers. Nope. The crew at Metro St. James wants customers to kiss each other. It is also a brilliant way to get viral chatter about the business that opened less than four months ago.
A video posted over the weekend explains the promotion. And judging from the looks on the faces of many customers, the program was a surprise, albeit a welcomed one.
