Beck Interview: The D.C. Scandals Are Civil Rights Issues -- and the President Should Go to Jail

"I personally think there's a lot of people on both sides of the aisle that shouldn't be impeached, but should go to jail."

Before addressing the large crowd gathered at the Capitol on Wednesday, Glenn Beck spoke with MRC's Dan Joseph.

MRC's Dan Joseph interviews Glenn Beck

The short interview talked about the event, the rise of government tyranny, and how oppression of American's civil rights needs to be addressed right now. At one point, Joseph asked Beck about the possibility of impeaching the President, Beck seemed doubtful -- not because of the number of Democrats in Washington -- but because of the way some Republicans have been acting.

"I think this government, with the Progressives in the Republican party have sold themselves to the highest bidder long ago," he said.

Beck also expressed his feelings on what should happen to some of the elected officials who are not living up to their oath: "I personally think there's a lot of people on both sides of the aisle that shouldn't be impeached, but should go to jail."
