Unbelievable Nanny Cam Video Catches Crook Breaking into NJ Home and Brutally Beating Mom in Front of 3-Year-Old Daughter

Plus: The incredible reason she refused to cry!

She was being kicked, thrown down a set of stairs, and put in a choke hold -- but she didn't scream. That's the incredible story a New Jersey mom is telling Tuesday after an attacker broke into her house on Friday morning and savagely beat her in front of her three-year-old daughter.

Why didn't she scream? She wanted to keep her daughter calm.

It happened in Millburn and was all caught on the woman's nanny cam. It captures the moments after a man broke down the back door while the mother was making breakfast and repeatedly striking the woman all as her young daughter sits cowering on the couch.

"I knew that if I started screaming, my daughter would too, and I was afraid she would get hurt," she told News 12 in New Jersey. "I took it. I didn't cry the entire time."

The outlet says she was kicked a total of 16 times. But her plan worked: the man never touched the young girl or the 1-year-old little boy upstairs. You can watch some the disturbing footage below:

“There was no sort of conversation about, ‘Give him some things,’ which I would’ve done,” the mother, who news outlets are protecting by shielding her identity, told WCBS-TV.

“This can happen to anyone,” she added, “and you know what? If he can break my door down, he’s going to break your door down.”

Police have not arrested anyone in the attack, and the crook got away with some jewelry, including the woman's wedding ring.

The woman was hospitalized and suffered a concussion and some facial injuries.
