On Sunday, the country took one more step toward football season when Fox's main broadcast team of Joe Buck, Troy Aikman, and Pam Oliver returned to call the preseason game between the Colts and Giants. And Oliver was welcomed back in one of the most jarring ways: an errant pass directly to the face.
It happened during warm-ups as the Colts were visiting the Giants in New York. Backup quarterback Chandler Harnish let it rip, and instead of connecting with a receiver, he got the best of Oliver's right cheek:
