Camels in Syria are frightened by Obama

AEI's Mark Theisson explains why:

...So what exactly is our objective in Syria? To blow stuff up? If ever there was evidence that Obama has no strategy in Syria, this is it. The purpose of military power is to “alter the balance of power” in a conflict. If that is not your objective, you should not use it.

Incredibly, Obama officials are actually holding up the Clinton administration’s cruise missile strikes against Sudan and Afghanistan after the 1998 East Africa Embassy bombings as a model.

Boy, those sure worked at “deterring and degrading” al Qaeda, didn’t they? ...

That is why, when President Bush was asked after the 9/11 attacks what he intended to do, he replied: “When I take action I’m not going to fire a $2 million missile at a $10 empty tent and hit a camel in the butt. It’s going to be decisive.”

Apparently the only ones in Syria who need to fear Barack Obama are the camels.
