CNN lands Obama-Syria interview

Just in from the good people at CNN:

On Monday, September 9, CNN lead political anchor Wolf Blitzer will sit down with President Barack Obama at the White House to discuss options for Syria. This interview will air in the 6 p.m. ET hour on The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer and willbe simulcast on CNN International.

This will be President Obama's first sit-down interview on the subject of the U.S.'s possible intervention in Syria.

Update: As noted in Politico, Obama is also granting interviews to PBS' Gwen Ifill, Fox's Chris Wallace, ABC's Diane Sawyer, CBS' Scott Pelley, and NBC's Savannah Guthrie
