No, the Bald Eagle was not 'extinct'

An unfortunate mixup between "extinct" and "endangered" led to the inaccurate screen title below on a Fox News "Fox & Friends" segment Wednesday morning.

For the record, the Bald Eagle was not wiped out and brought back to life by John Hammond. It was a threatened species. The bird was, however, removed from the federal endangered animals list in 2007.
