I'll Rip His F**king Throat Out!' New Video of Scandal-Plagued Toronto Mayor Raises Fresh Set of Concerns

"I need f**king 10 minutes to make sure he's dead."

Things may have taken yet another turn for the worse for Rob Ford, Toronto’s scandal-plagued mayor.

In a video released Thursday by the Toronto Star, the mayor, who admitted earlier this week to smoking crack cocaine, can be seen stumbling around an unknown room, waving his arms and ranting about killing someone.

“I’m gonna’ kill that f**king guy. I’m telling you, it’s first-degree murder,” the mayor is heard saying on the cellphone video. “I’ll rip his f**king throat out. I’ll poke his eyes out ... I’ll make sure that mother***ker’s dead.”

“I’ll fight him. I’ll--” Ford trails off, “I need f**king 10 minutes to make sure he's dead. It'll be over in five minutes, brother.”

“(H)e dies or I die, brother," he adds, "don't tell me we're liars, thieves, birds -- it hurts."

At one point, the mayor tugs at his collar and says, “Brother, I just need to go f**king by myself in my f**king underwear.”

“I am a sick mother***ker, dude,” he says, rolling up his sleeves. “But no one’s gonna f**k around with me.”

It’s unclear who or what prompted the mayor’s outburst.

You can watch the video here (content warning: very strong language):

Ford said after the video emerged that he was "very, very inebriated" at the time it was shot.

“The Toronto Star just released a video that I was very, very inebriated,” Ford said. “All I can say is, again, I’ve made mistakes. I just wanted to come out and tell you I saw a video. It’s extremely embarrassing. The whole world’s going to see it. You know what? I don’t have a problem with that.”

“I hope none of you have ever or will ever be in that state. Obviously, I was extremely, extremely inebriated," he said.
