These Two Rappers Just Filmed a Music Video in an Unlikely Place

BEIJING (AP) — Two aspiring American rappers say they have filmed a music video during a five-day visit to North Korea.

The rappers known as Pacman and Peso did not say where and how they filmed the video. Their fundraising proposal suggested the video would be shot on a karaoke party bus in Pyongyang. They raised more than $10,000 on the crowdsourcing site Kickstarter to fund their trip.

The Washington-area residents, whose real names are Anthony Bobb and Dontray Ennis, spoke to reporters after arriving in Beijing on Saturday.

They say the unusual move could jumpstart their music careers. They hope to release the video next month.

North Korea has detained at least six Americans in recent years, including an elderly tourist last month.
