New Jersey Man Comes to Horrifying, Painful Realization When He Woke Up After Night of Drinking
December 09, 2013
A New Jersey man woke up with a stinging pain in his back after a long night's sleep. He had his brother take a look, and the problem was far too obvious -- he had a knife sticking out of his back.
The unidentified 42-year-old man was apparently stabbed at around 2 a.m. on Sunday after he had been out drinking that night.
The man reportedly walked on to his porch in Trenton, N.J., to smoke a cigarette and was approached by a man who needed a light, the Times of Trenton reports. The stabbing victim reportedly refused for some reason, sparking a physical altercation.
The man claims he began to win the fight and his attacker ran away.
However, there was very little information available about the attack as police say the victim has been "very uncooperative." There is certainly a possibility that he is not telling the entire truth to investigators for some unknown reason.
"Police did not disclose the size or type of knife, but told the Times of Trenton that a five-inch blade was removed from the victim's back at Capital Health Regional Medical Center," the Daily Mail reports.
The man was scheduled to be released form the hospital on Monday.
