Student Facing Extortion Charges After Allegedly Using Naked Pictures of Male Student to Blackmail Him Into Gay Sex

"...if you do it the way we asked then we will both delete what we have."

An Ohio University student is facing multiple charges after allegedly posing as a female online to trick a male student into sending him naked photos that were then used to blackmail the compromised student into gay sex, according to court documents.

Dorian J. Graham, 19, pleaded not-guilty to charges of sexual battery, attempted sexual battery, extortion and attempted in Athens County Common Pleas Court Dec. 4, The Athens News reported.

Court documents accuse Graham of texting another student "under a female pseudonym and started a 'texting relationship' with (him)."

"'She began to flirt with him, and got to the point in which they sent naked pictures to each other over Snapchat," Athens County Prosecutor Keller Blackburn reportedly said. Snapchat is a social media application for smartphones that allows users to share photographs with one another.

According to court documents, once Graham had obtained photos of the victim, he posted them online and sent him the link.

The alleged victim then "begged" for the graphic content to be scrubbed from the web, but Graham, still posing as a female, would only agree not to disseminate the material to others if the male student agreed to have sex with another male (which was him), court documents say, according to The Athens News.

"I'm going to tell everybody about this," Graham allegedly threatened, according to a prosecutor, The Athens News reported. "I'm going to let everyone see this."

The victim, actually believing him and another male were being blackmailed into having gay sex and recording it for the viewing pleasure of a female, apparently agreed to the act, according to WBNS-TV.

But, that did not satisfy Graham, still posing as a female.

"You can do it again, the right way so it's not so dark and sketchy and stuff," Graham reportedly messaged. "And if you do it the way we asked then we will both delete what we have."

"I don't want (to have sex with a man). It's not me. I'm clearly not your type can we just leave it at that?" the victim countered, according to WBNS-TV.

Graham didn't fold and then threatened to post the images on Facebook. That's when the police were called.

Graham has been released on a $10,000 bond, according to The Athens News, and his trial is slated for late February.

Blackburn said the incident highlights some of the new problems social media presents.

"It's just another instance of social media and people being too free with their thoughts and what they're doing," he told WBNS-TV. "We have to remember that when we do things involving social media, that these things are out there forever."
