On the front end, our colleague Becket Adams posted a video of President Obama repeatedly using the word "folks" to refer to people in general during his interview with Fox News's Bill O'Reilly.
To be sure, Obama does use the term a lot. During a speech on "opportunity" in Waukesha, Wis., last week, Obama used it 15 times, according to the official transcript.
But who else dispenses "folks" so freely?
"Trusting the folks" [newspaper column, Bill O'Reilly]
"The folks turning on President Obama" ["The O'Reilly Factor" commentary, Bill O'Reilly]
"Why the folks are angry about Obamacare" ["The O'Reilly Factor" commentary, Bill O'Reilly]
What this means: People seem to feel good about the word "folks."
