What a Soon-to-Be Ex-Boyfriend Threw at His Girlfriend That Landed Him in Jail

A 24-year-old Michigan man was arrested Monday after his girlfriend reported assault.

The crime? He threw a plate of pizza at her.

According to the report filed by the Leelanau County Sheriff's Office, the woman claimed she was physically assaulted when the plate and pizza hit her in the forehead, though she was not injured. She also alleged that he took her phone and threw it outside.

According to MLive, the woman said the incident started with her initiating a break up with the man. That's when she said he responded with the pizza and phone throwing.

The man was arrested and could see  with second offense domestic violence charges.
