MSNBC Panelist Claims 'We Never Have That Conversation' About Racism — The Internet Responds in Best Way Imaginable
May 01, 2014
"No matter how many times we say we’re gonna have a conversation about race, we never have that conversation."
On Thursday’s edition of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” panelist Mike Barnicle claimed “we never have that conversation” about racism during a discussion about Clippers owner Donald Sterling. It was a head-scratching statement that the Internet was glad to address.
“You can’t ban racism for life,” he said. “And it’s endemic in our culture. No matter how many times we say we’re gonna have a conversation about race, we never have that conversation.”
In response, Digitas Daily put together a video compilation featuring MSNBC hosts talking about racism — and there was plenty of content to choose from.
