Moore's daughter Mary Alice told WFXT-TV that cards and letters started pouring in by the thousands after she started a Facebook page to honor her mom.
She has been reading the letters to her mother, sharing the tributes like the one sent from "Christine USMC": “You have led the way for us that follow you and we will always be grateful may God bless you.”

At the care facility where Moore lives in Somerville, Massachusetts, she receives more mail than any of the other residents -- most of it from complete strangers who write to let the 90 year old know how important and inspiring she is to them.
