See that Pig? He's About to Make One Bold Move

Where ever this pig was going -- a slaughterhouse, a new farm, a fair -- it decided it would rather risk jumping from the top of a moving truck than get to its final destination.

As the truck was rolling down the road, the brave pig popped its head up, perhaps climbing on top of fellow porkers below. Soon, it made its way over to the edge, took a look and made a break for it, falling to the pavement. Though the pig landed on its back and rolled to the side of the road, it stood up just fine, appearing unscathed.

"This is the first time in recorded history that something with actual bacon saved its bacon," one commenter on the video said.

But it's actually not. Just last week a pig on in China leapt from a truck as well and was captured on camera.

It is unclear when exactly this dash for freedom occurred, but it appears to first have been posted on LiveLeak this week. Some have also speculated that the pig jumped to avoid slaughter. It's unclear if the slaughterhouse is where it was headed, but given the well-known intelligence of pigs, we wouldn't put it past them.
