His GoPro Camera Captured Something on Film That Would Likely Terrify Most Swimmers
August 01, 2014
It's something most swimmers would not want to see after taking a dive into the water.
A sailor with a GoPro camera stumbled on a massive colony of jellyfish, capturing the stunning scene all on film.
Specific details about the incident were not available, however, the incredible footage started to widely circulate on the Internet this week, amassing more than 50,000 views in just a few days.
According to the website Jellywatch.com, a large group of jellyfish like this is called a bloom and usually occurs when two ocean currents merge.
Such blooms are common on Australia's northern coast, according to the Telegraph.
