Kids that had watched a caterpillar they captured turn into a butterfly finally had to let it go. But the butterfly wasn't about to flit off without a surprising goodbye.

After the butterfly found its wings taking off a branch, it settled on a little boy's face, right on his nose.

Surprisingly, the boy resisted any urge to shoo the butterfly off his face and let it fly off in its own time while he yelled at it to "Go!"

One redditor explained the boy's reaction perfectly.
