New York Man Arrested for Stashing Pot, Cocaine and LSD in a Most Unexpected Object

The last place they'd think of looking.
A 22-year-old man was arrested in a bus station after pot, cocaine and LSD were found hidden inside an object he was carrying that you might say is the last place anyone would think of looking: a little stuffed lion toy.

But it wasn't just any little stuffed lion — this one was wearing a black shirt emblazoned with red D.A.R.E. letters.
You know, Drug Abuse Resistance Education? The nationwide program committed to ending drug use among school-aged children.
Gregory Bolognese of Plattsburgh, New York, was arrested at the Plattsburgh Greyhound bus station Monday after he was found in possession of two grams of marijuana, 0.6 grams of cocaine, and two LSD strips, WPTZ-TV reported, citing state police.
Bolognese is charged with two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession and one count of unlawful possession of marijuana, the station reported.

He was arraigned, taken to jail on $500 cash bail, and is scheduled to reappear in court on Thursday, WPTZ noted.
