Losing His Marriage and His Job, This Guy Says, Motivated Him to Do Something Amazing

The title of his post says it all:

"Got divorced, lost my job, so me and my buddy got on our motorcycles and rode North to the Alaskan Arctic until the road ran out."

The pictures, posted to Reddit late Sunday night by Sebastiaan de With, tell the incredible story of the 11,000-mile trek between San Francisco and the Alaskan wild.

Answering questions on Reddit, de With said the journey helped him through his divorce and job loss.

"It has really allowed me to kind of 'find myself' after such a turbulent time and I'm now doing plenty of job-seeking with renewed inspiration to spend my time saving up for more experiences like this," he wrote.
