He Sounds Miserable after Getting the iPhone 6, and When You Hear Why He Got It You'll Probably Feel Depressed Too

Some people get spastically excited when they snag the latest iPhone, but one man in Bristol, England, had a very atypical reaction Friday when he picked up an iPhone 6: heartbreaking depression.

"Normally should be great day," Darius Wlodarski told SWNS-TV as he clutched his new purchase. "But it's not so great for me today even if I got the iPhone 6 because it's for my wife but, basically... after 20 years of marriage she split with me a month ago... because I wasn't the best husband and father."

The Polish-born 41-year-old explained that his wife has always loved iPhones, so he waited in line to get the new model as a show of his devotion.

"The first iPhone, I bought for her, she was so happy," he recalled.

How long did he wait in line?

44 grueling hours, he said.

He apologized to his wife and daughter for not living up to their expectations, and vowed, "I could be good again."
