TheBlaze TV Announces Change to Prime-Time Lineup

"We look forward to seeing what he does with his own show."

TheBlaze TV on Wednesday announced that Buck Sexton, the network's national security adviser and the longtime co-host of Real News, will get his own show on the network.

A former CIA officer and frequent contributor to Fox News and CNN, Sexton is the only person to have guest hosted on the radio for Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck. He will continue to host his radio program, The Buck Sexton Show, on TheBlaze Radio Network weekdays from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. ET.

His television program is scheduled to begin in early 2015, and will be broadcast from TheBlaze's New York City headquarters. It will air in prime-time after The Glenn Beck Program and Dana, replacing Real News.

"Buck joined TheBlaze a few years ago as an online writer and given his talent combined with the reach of TheBlaze, was able to quickly carve out his own voice and loyal following on a variety of platforms," said Joel Cheatwood, TheBlaze's president and chief content officer. "He has already found great success as a writer, radio host and television star and we look forward to seeing what he does with his own show."

TheBlaze TV, which offers 43 hours of original programming per week, is available on over 75 television operators across the country.
