Tense Video Shows Police and Anonymous Protesters Facing Off in the Nation’s Capital: ‘Throw It Again and You Are on the Ground!’

"Throw it again and you are on the ground!"

Anonymous-affiliated protesters participating in the “Million Mask March” on Wednesday were captured on video confronting police officers and even throwing items at them during a tense standoff in front of the FBI building in Washington, D.C.

The wild video footage shows protesters shouting in officers faces and seemingly throwing unknown items at them.

“Throw it again and you are on the ground!” one of the officers is heard shouting in the video.

The cops show incredible restraint as they maintain their positions instead of using force, despite being severely outnumbered by the protesters. It appeared that the protesters were attempting to evoke some sort of strong response from the officers.

In a different video, officers are seen arresting a suspect after using a Taser on him. The man claims that he “didn’t do anything,” but the video is highly edited and doesn’t show what happened leading up to the arrest.

As Raw Story notes, the protests "were scheduled by Anonymous to coincide with Guy Fawkes Day, in memory of Fawkes who attempted to blow up the House of Lords in England on Nov. 5, 1605."
