Their First Hollywood Film Asked 'Is There a God?' -- but This New Movie Digs Much Deeper (Plus: The Exclusive Trailer)
November 08, 2014
"It is our hope that the film's compassionate and convicting message will create the same passion and enthusiasm regarding faith that 'God’s Not Dead' did for its audiences."
There's yet another faith-based feature film heading to theaters next spring. "Do You Believe?", the next major release from Pure Flix Entertainment, the Christian studio that produced "God's Not Dead," will bring yet another Bible-themed message to audiences nationwide.
With diverse characters who are "longing for something more," the movie will focus on how their lives intersect, as each is profoundly impacted by the Christian message.
"We have anticipated the release for the trailer for 'Do You Believe?' to audiences who have been looking forward to this project as the follow up release to 'God’s Not Dead,'" Pure Flix co-found David A.R. White said in a statement. "It is our hope that the film's compassionate and convicting message will create the same passion and enthusiasm regarding faith that 'God’s Not Dead' did for its audiences."
TheBlaze has an exclusive first-look at the first theatrical trailer for "Do You Believe?" Watch it below:
"Do You Believe?" features an array of well-known actors, including Cybill Shepherd, Sean Astin and Mira Sorvino, among others.
“The film deals with the power of the cross and the relevancy of the cross in today’s society,” White told TheBlaze earlier this year. “‘God’s Not Dead’ really dealt with, ‘Is there a God?’ … the next step — as Christians — we believe [God] is Jesus Christ.”
