Well, you don't see this every day.

Incredible footage shows a squirrel snatch a GoPro and carry the camera up a tree — all while the device was recording.

According to the individual who uploaded the footage to YouTube, the entire thing was setup to lure the small animal into taking the camera.

"I attached a piece of bread to my GoPro, and a squirrel picked it up and carried it up a tree. After eating the bread, it swiftly discarded the GoPro," the uploader wrote.

Nonetheless, the footage has still captivated the Internet, amassing nearly 3 million views on YouTube.

"Go squirrel, be a hero!" an individual commented, playing off GoPro's "be a hero" slogan.

"This is TOO funny not to share," wrote another person.
