Twitter Confirms It Is Experiencing a Service Interruption (UPDATE: Issue Resolved)

UPDATE, 9:58 p.m. ET: The issue has been resolved, according to Twitter.

Twitter was experiencing an "issue with tweeting and a delay in timelines" Monday evening.

The social media giant confirmed in a post on their website that they were currently experiencing problems. The cause of the problem was, however, not immediately clear.

"Our engineers are currently working on this issue," Twitter said.

The outage comes about a week after Twitter users experienced similar problems with their feeds.

An email seeking comment from TheBlaze was not immediately returned. At the time of publication, the website had been down for more than 30 minutes.
