TMZ: Wild Security Footage Emerges Showing Actress and Country Singer Wielding Large Knife in Effort to Break Up a Fight

[It] looks as though she's screaming at the crowd of brawling individuals...

Weeks after a report that country singer and former Nickelodeon actress Jamie Lynn Spears purportedly pulled a knife inside of a Louisiana fast-food restaurant in an effort to stop a brawl, TMZ claims to have uncovered video of the apparent incident.

The short security clip shows what the entertainment outlet claims is Spears pulling her friend out of a brawl at the Pita Pit in Hammond, Louisiana, before heading behind the counter and wielding a large knife in an apparently successful effort to stop the fight.

There is no audio, but the woman identified as Spears looks as though she's screaming at the crowd of brawling individuals — all while holding the knife and shaking her hand at the unruly group.

Watch it unfold below:

As TheBlaze previously reported, initial accounts claimed that Spears, the 23-year-old sister of pop star Britney Spears, reportedly helped her companion to safety behind the counter, grabbed a massive bread knife and began wielding it in a successful effort to stop the fight.

When police arrived, her friend decided not to press charges against a woman who reportedly assaulted her, TMZ reported.

It's worth noting that Spears appears to be wearing clothing in a photo reportedly published to Instagram hours before the Pita Pit incident unfolded that is similar to what the woman in the clip is donning:

Spears recently spoke with TheBlaze about her country music career and her struggles and triumphs after having a baby when she was just 16 years old.
