CHARLOTTE, N.C. (TheBlaze/AP) — Two people suffered non-life-threatening injuries after being shot Saturday at a Charlotte nightclub where rappers T.I., Young Jeezy and Yo Gotti were advertised to appear, a Charlotte-Mecklenburg police spokesman said.

The Charlotte Observer reported a popular club at the N.C. Music Factory complex was hosting a "CIAA Weekend Takeover" party when shots rang out about 7 p.m. The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association has been holding its annual basketball tournament in Charlotte this week.
It's unclear whether the party was an officially sanctioned CIAA event.

Police spokesman Rob Tufano said several shot were fired. It's not clear who the suspect was targeting. No arrests have been made.
USA Today reported all three rappers were on stage during the shooting.
Rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs was scheduled to appear at 10 p.m.
