Elton John Busted With Embarrassing Photo After Announcing 'Boycott' Over Designers' Views on Gay Adoption, Traditional Family
March 17, 2015
"...it should not detract from their original message or the boycott."
Days after announcing he would be boycotting Dolce & Gabbana over the designers’ views on gay adoption and traditional families, Elton John was apparently photographed carrying a Dolce & Gabbana bag.
The Daily Mail published the following photo on Tuesday:

A spokesperson for the musician reportedly claimed the photo was doctored and threatened legal action — but then backtracked later in the day.
A different spokesperson told the Daily Mail, “Yes he was carrying the bag but he hadn’t been shopping. And it should not detract from their original message or the boycott.”
In a recent interview with Panorama magazine, Stefano Gabbana said, “The family is not a fad. In it there is a supernatural sense of belonging.” Dolce added, “I call children of chemistry, synthetic children. Uteri [for] rent, semen chosen from a catalog.”
The comments led John and other celebrities to boycott the brand.
