Watch How Calm Officers in This Traffic Stop Remain as a Woman Accused of Smelling of Weed Goes Off on Them: 'You Did That to Me Because I Was Black

"Officers trying to do their job in a professional manner."

Cops in South Euclid, Ohio, strove to maintain their cool as a traffic stop turned into a curse-word laden verbal encounter with a woman they suspected of smoking or being in possession of marijuana.

The video captured by a body camera worn one of the officers shows a fellow officer at the window of the car driven by the woman who was later identified by the department as a minor. It started with the woman explaining the traffic stop to the officer as he then asked her to step out of the vehicle.

"I just told the officer why I might have smelled like marijuana," she said, later explaining that she was at a party where some people were smoking.

"Your car smells like weed, step out please," the officer calmly repeated, telling her that she was about to go to jail for obstructing official business.

"Ma'am, I could smell the weed," the officer wearing the body camera said, backing up his comrade as the woman protested.

"You pulled me over for a mother f***ing traffic stop, you racist ass bitch," the woman yelled. "You did that to me because I was black."

The woman continued to scream at the officers when they asked her again to exit the vehicle.

"Either step out or we can escort you out," one of the officers said.

"You are going to get punched in the face, I swear to mother f***ing God," the woman retorted.

"You are about a heartbeat away from going to jail right now," the officer said.
