Wow': Take a Look at What Happens When an Egg Is Cracked Into Liquid Nitrogen
October 12, 2015
"Eggcellent."
A new video posted online Sunday shows a man "cook" an egg by cracking it inside a container of liquid nitrogen.
After an unknown period of time boiling, the egg appears to end up in a solid state resembling one that is hard-boiled. However, while it may resemble a cooked egg, it isn't. Instead, the egg achieved a similar appearance after undergoing denaturation as a result of the liquid nitrogen.
Nevertheless, viewers reacted in awe upon seeing the science experiment.
"Wow," commented one person.
"Eggcellent," echoed many others.
