Marco Rubio Eyes Cruz, Carson and Bush in debate prep video — but it's not what you think

In an online ad released hours before tonight’s CNBC Republican presidential debate, the camera opens on GOP presidential hopeful Sen. Macro Rubio on the phone talking about Cruz, Carson and Bush.

“Hey, what’s the latest on Cruz?” Rubio asked into the phone. “I know, but is he in or is he out? Because I keep seeing reports here about both.”

It isn’t until the end of the ad that it becomes clear Rubio isn’t talking about his GOP rivals at all.
